In accordance with Article V, Section 1 of the Bylaws & Constitution of ALERT, a nominating committee was appointed at the March 2009 meeting. This committee has completed it’s work & presented the nominees for the 2009 – 2010 term at the April 14 meeting.

The nominees are:

Election of Officers shall be held at the regular meeting on May 12 & nominations from the floor will be accepted at that meeting.

If there are nominations from the floor, in accordance with Article V, Section 2, the election will be held by secret ballot, with the President appointing two members to count the ballots. Otherwise, if there are no floor nominations, the election will be open & the election will be by simple majority of votes.
